The chair consisted of five pre-assembled pieces that fitted nice and tightly together. The joints were all mortise and tenon and held in place... Read More. Service rating : Ordered a Windsor Teak Garden Chair and as stated it was delivered the next working day, and exactly on time within the one hour time slot. The chair consisted of five pre-assembled pieces that fitted nice and tightly together. The joints were all mortise and tenon and held in place with teak dowel pins provided. One minor hiccup was that when I opened the sealed bag containing the assembly items (should have been 4 screws and 12 dowels per instructions) I found I was two wooden dowels short. Quick phone call and a really helpful and friendly lady apologised for the error and said she would post additional wooden dows which arrived the following day. I then assembled the chair without any problems and was very pleased with its quality, so pleased in fact that I immediately ordered another one to match.
The second was delivered without problem on the day of my choice and again exactly within the one hour time slot that had been given to me. Again really pleased with the service received from Sloanes & Sons. Nothing was too much trouble when I enquired about anything but please could you do a bit more 'quality control' on the assembly packs sent with the chairs, as the second one had the 4 screws missing this time! Did not go back to them about that as I had screws the same size in my garage, but it is real annoying when assembly packs don't contain the correct items.
Overall, a 5 star was given as was so pleased with both the chairs. Thank You.
Product : Good quality and very strong teak chair with all mortise and tenon joints locked in position with teak dowels.
