Sloane & Sons Delivery Options
DPD, TNT, or Pallet force will deliver your item(s) between 8:00 and 18:00 on your chosen day of delivery.
DPD will tend to deliver smaller items like cushions, covers and anchoring kits. DPD will text and e-mail a one hour delivery time slot the morning of delivery if a mobile number / e-mail has been provided. Please follow the instructions on your text message / e-mail to track your order online and make any alterations.
TNT deliver most of our products like two, three and some four seaters benches. Please note this is an ALL-DAY service (we cannot provide ETA's) and where tracking is sent via e-mail it will only confirm the item is out for delivery. The driver will not contact you prior to delivery. Please note you do NOT need to be in to accept delivery but must leave a signed note on the day of delivery leaving clear instructions for the driver as to where you want the item(s) leaving.
Pallet force will deliver bulk orders and assembled benches. A tracking number will also be emailed to you at point of dispatch. Orders are delivered on a large (18-26 tonne) rigid lorry. Orders are unloaded to the nearest safe, accessible point. Orders are contracted out as KERBSIDE ONLY and any other unload point is subject to driver discretion. The driver will not handball the goods. Goods are unloaded by tail lift and hand- pump pallet truck - a hard flat standing surface is required. If access is an issue we must be made aware 24 hours prior to the delivery being executed. Please note this is an ALL-DAY service (we cannot provide ETA's) so please ensure if being delivered to a separate location to your home that you allow for this.
All products are photographed and leave our warehouse in perfect condition. Upon delivery, please check for correct quantities and condition of goods - photograph and sign the delivery note for any damages or shortfalls. Your claim may not be accepted if the delivery note is not signed as DAMAGED. Please refuse the delivery and notify us via e-mail Callan@Sloaneandsons.com quoting your order number.
Whereas we appreciate this is a lot to digest it does allow us as a small family business to ensure that we are able to claim from our courier partners correctly for their shortfalls and in turn keep our prices competitive through not having to absorb unnecessary shrinkage.
Free Delivery
Order by 14:00 hours and have your purchase delivered to you tomorrow (see below for conditions) at no cost.
When will my item(s) be delivered?
- If your item(s) are in stock and you order before 14:00 hours, your delivery will arrive on the next working day
- If tomorrow isn't convenient, you can choose a different date to suit you
- If your item(s) are in stock and you order after 14:00 hours, your delivery will arrive two working days later
- If your item(s) are out of stock, the website will show when we expect stock to arrive
- Deliveries take place between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays)
- Saturday Delivery is also available at an additional cost of £25 - a great option if it's difficult to take time off work during the week.**
What are the costs?
Delivery from Monday to Friday is FREE to the UK mainland, with the exception of some of the more remote Scottish postcodes - please see the bottom of this page for details.
Saturday Delivery
Delivery on Saturday is £25 and takes place usually between 08:00 - 13:00.
Where will my item(s) be delivered?
With the Free Delivery Service, your item(s) will be delivered to the front door of your house, or the main entrance to your block of apartments. In order to keep this a free service, we are unable to proceed any further than the main door to your building. The same applies to our Saturday delivery service.
