Our Manufacturing Heritage
At Sloane & Sons, we believe in keeping things simple, keeping high standards and keeping our promises. This is how we have been operating since the company was founded by Gerry Sloane in 1989, and these are the principles we apply to Sloane & Sons quality teak benches and outdoor furniture.
Founded, and proud to remain in, Burton on Trent, Sloane & Sons began by manufacturing cushions and soft furnishings and has now been manufacturing and supplying essential products for the home and garden for over 25 years. We have used all of the expertise and knowledge built up over that time to source the very finest goods, while at the same time harnessing the e-commerce side of the business to become one of the largest online suppliers in the country.
It is the next generation of the Sloane family which now takes the business forward, with Edward applying his supply chain and e-commerce knowledge to the business to ensure its growth but remaining uncompromising when it comes to the quality of products and of service for which the company is renowned.
Our Teak Benches
When it comes to quality teak benches and furniture, we kept things simple by conducting detailed research on what customers wanted from their seating experience, then developing - alongside one of the world's leading manufacturers of outdoor furniture - an uncomplicated range of teak benches and memorial seats that are simply top quality, supremely comfortable and look simply stunning in your garden or patio area. With many other companies having pages and pages of confusing options and constantly changing deals, it's hard to know where to start. With us, it's simple - and in the unlikely event that you're having any difficulty, our customers can just pick up the phone or drop us an email.
With the business growing, Sloane & Sons has recently taken on a new, purpose-built distribution centre on the outskirts of Burton on Trent. From the distribution centre, we are able to dispatch up to 100 benches a day nationally and internationally. Heavy investment in our infrastructure and tracking systems means we can continue keeping our promises to all of our customers.
