Pulled Pork Burgers Dowsed In BBQ Sauce

Of course, you can buy in your favourite BBQ sauce or coleslaw and coat your delicious pulled pork in some of your favourite flavours, but we’d highly recommend giving their homemade counterparts in this recipe a go. They’re quick, easy, and definitely tasty enough to make you forget about the store-bought equivalents!   This BBQ pulled pork burger recipe is the definition of a slow burner, so you’ll want to put the pork on the BBQ a few hours before you’re ready to eat and make it the last thing you take off. Coincidentally, this makes it one of the easier things to cook on a BBQ! But, make sure you keep your eye on the pork to not overcook it.

How To Serve BBQ Pulled Pork Burgers

person slicing pulled pork for burger
BBQ pulled pork burgers are filling and full of flavour, so think light when serving. Add a refreshing cucumber and tomato salad to the table, or throw together the quintessential green salad full of veggies like lettuce, spring onions and celery for a healthy kick alongside your pulled pork burgers. Next, consider the perfect drink to set off your BBQ. To match the smokiness of the BBQ pulled pork burgers, rich liquors like whiskey and bourbon will go down well. Offset the bite by mixing the drinks with plenty of lemonade or coke – the soft drinks will cut through the smoky taste with a kick of citrus and sugar. For a non-alcoholic beverage, lemonade by itself is the perfect summery accompaniment. And, of course, you’ll want to finish your BBQ with a bang – dessert! So, if you and your guests have any room left after the tasty meal, consider following up your BBQ pulled pork burgers with some delicious, caramelised bananas. This luscious, lightweight dessert will set off that BBQ food nicely and bring the delicious meal to a sweet end.
